Heart’s Desire
What’s calling you? What’s asking for
your attention that you keep pushing to the back of your mind? What
dream just won’t let up, what desire has your name on it?
What kept calling me was to sing. Every time I saw
or heard a choir my heart exploded with desire. I wanted to join…
join the singing, praising God; praising life in song. As a minister
with a full schedule of counseling, teaching, etc., this dream seemed
far off. Nothing is impossible with God. My friend, Claire Victor, who
directors our choir, gave me an open invitation to visit rehearsal any
time. The “One Heart Choir” truly defines a group of loving
people who have joined together. These marvelous lovers of Spirit and
song have opened their hearts to me.
I am proud to say I rearranged my schedule and I
stepped forward. I answered the call, remembering that it’s my
willingness that life responds to. When life beckons us, love will draw
us easily to the right path and all possibilities will appear.
What’s calling you?
Today I follow my heart. I know all
things are possible with God. I easily walk the path of my dreams,
knowing that Spirit goes before me lighting my way with ease and
effortlessness. Today I walk with God into my heart’s desire.
